Plot[]
In this Season 9 Charmed Premiere, Phoebe goes back down to the basement where she is suddenly possessed by the ‘thought dead’ Source of All Evil. Phoebe is then given the Source’s powers where she conjures her old lover (Cole Turner) in order to start something new. The Source (in Phoebe’s head) convinces her to kill one of her sisters to break down the Power of Three. Phoebe shoots a powerful flame of fire from her hands that hits Paige and causes her to disintegrate. Piper strangely ‘orbs’ out of the Battle Zone and conjures a time portal. The now lonely sister steps in and goes back in time where she can prevent Phoebe from ever going down to the basement. Piper then goes down to the basement herself, casts the Ancestors' spell and vanquishes the source, once again.
Trivia[]
- The title of this episode is based on the film 'Back to the Future'.
- Shannen Doherty directs every episode from this one up until she returns as Prue. Shannen Doherty becomes a part of Charmed from the beginning of this season.
- This is the first time Piper conjures a portal without the need of a potion or spell.
- Piper strangely orbs by herself in this episode.
- This episode is based on A Witch in Time.
